Our darkroom is equipped with 15 enlarger stations and is where photography students process film and print. The darkroom is open to photography students outside of class time during the day, plus in the evenings and over the weekend.

The drawing studio is where our drawing sequences of courses meet: Drawing Foundation, Drawing II, Figure Drawing, Figure Drawing II-A, and Figure Drawing II-B

The studio is open to art students outside of class time during the day, plus in the evenings and over the weekend.

Digital Studios

Room Number: S212/S213/S216

S212 is our screen-based digital studio in which our video, web design, 3D computer graphics, and 3D animation courses are taught. It is equipped with 16 Quad Core Xeon Processor Macintosh computers. The studio is also equipped with an LCD projection system.

S213 is our student work studio, open for art student use most days of the week. It is equipped with nine Macintosh computers, a large-format Epson color injet printers, flatbed scanners, and slide scanners.

S216 is our print-based digital studio in which our digital photography courses are taught. It is equipped with sixteen iMac computers. The studio is also equipped large-format Epson color injet printers, flatbed scanners, slide scanners, and an LCD projection system.

Digital studios are open to art students outside of class time throughout the week, plus in the evenings and on Saturdays. Open hours are published within and outside the studios each semester.

Painting Studios

The painting studios are a specialized space in which painting classes meet. Each painting student is assigned an individual area within the studio for use over the entire semester.

This studio is where our Visual Concepts series of courses meet.

The studio is open to art students outside of class time during the day, plus in the evenings and over the weekend. The studio is equipped with a mini workshop.

Design Studio

Workshop

Room Number: S230

The workshop is a full-featured woodworking shop in which students build stretcher frames and other constructions.

The workshop is equipped with work tables, various hand tools, skill saw, and table saw.

NOTE: Due to liability issues only qualified personnel may use the skill saw and table saw.
